Default Flat Rental - Help/Advice

Hi all,
So try and keep this as short and sweet as poss. A friend and I are looking at getting a flat in the East Sussex area. We've seen some really nice properties in the area at about £700 per month.
Now this is where i need a bit of advice... So at £350 a month each on rent, what other costs would we be likely to be looking at?

also on job wise, to make this a success what sort of monthly wage would be enough to live on after having paid rent, bills, phone, shopping, petrol etc...

Your help is much appreciated.

I didn't bother to read it tbh.
I haven't seen you around here and thought you to be one of the morons who refreshes their topic with a pointless post when nobody replies to it.
Sorry man.

Excellent, that seems to fit in with my estimates so far. Thanks for that. Any other general ideas/advice would be very helpful.
