I wouldn't live in the Harbour, though I know it's popular with renters. But there is doubt as to whether all the necessary excavation and piling work was done when it was started to be developed. Part of it used to be a waste dump. If you do an environmental search against a property there you'll see what I mean.

I used to live in the Old Town. So long as you don't go for the really prestigious bits, you should find properties there if you like that kind of thing. Convenient for town, the station, etc. Plus some half decent pubs nearby.
