As topic : I appear to have lost mine, and I need it for applying to the Open University for financial aid. Basically just want to know if I can get one sent to me. I'm looking on the HM Revenue & Customs site, but can't find anything on there. Or would I need to get it through my employer? Basically, help.

Your employer can get you a copy, or you can contact the Inland Revenue yourself and hope for the best.

Your employer can't get you a copy as it is illegal to produce copies of such documents. you might be able to get hold of the information on it from the IR but personally I think you are stuffed.

If you ring your local PAYE helpline they should be able to get you a copy issued.

the wife needed one last week , and she rang her old employer who was able to make a duplicate of her p60.
