although i never had to go to that much rigmarole when my missus' pc still had xp installed.

why is it that yesterday both the laptop and computer could find the wireless network but now only the laptop can. ARGH

nope I just cannot do it. Going uni tomorrow and have about 3gb of files to transfer so I have to do it now. Any chance someone could guide me through it on here or over msn?

3 gig of files ? hasn't your computer got a dvd burner ? that's less than one blank dvd
