People aren't basing their decision on that, but it certainly helped him become known. Do you know anything about him beyond that? Go away and do some research, and you'll see he could easily do the job.

I'm always amazed by thy guy's workrate. I mean a few years ago he was editing the Spectator, being an MP and shadow minister, writing columns for the Telegraph and several magazines, making self pity city foam at the mouth AND having affairs.

Doesn't mean he isn't a **** though.

Ken Livingstone is a cretin of the highest order. But not really the biggest fan of the Tories either. However Boris doesn't come across as your average Tory. Will probably vote for him, but only because there's no one else any good.

Now I'm not a Londoner, but I'd stop short of wholeheartedly supporting Ken purely becuase of his perchant for inviting islamist nutters round for tea. Not something you'll get with Boris. He's more likly to be seen complementing black people on their "watermelon smiles" iirc.
