That's right miller. There's just no downside to that plan...

...except that houses cost £100k per square foot.

My first proper job in 2004 was £9,000 a year, as a Quantity Surveyor ffs, You'll be taking home approximately £1,200 a month by my reckoning

I don't intend to buy an house in the near future anyway would be a case of renting to start with and in a few years time buy to let.

i've started my first proper full time job on 21k after finishing Uni, gotta pay quite a lot rent though - my parents did buy me a car though
