| Whs. Doesn't seem like there's anything that could go horribly wrong.

£17.5k isn't a massive amount to live on in London, but if you can get a cheapish place to live you'll be ok.
How do you know how much your Season ticket would be if you don't know where in London you'll be living?

merry/Bliss; Yeah, relocating is in my mind - when I worked at SI, I remember a few of the guys renting some studio flats offered by Studio 60, or something like that - it is certainly something that appeals, because I'd love to live in London at some point. Company is Syzygy, btw. www.syzygy.net
birdy/Keyser/others; Nail on the head. I KNOW I will regret it if I don't take it.

What everyone else as said. After all, if you knock the travel off of what you'll be earning, then you'll still be earning ~£3k more than the moment in a job that interests you. What is there to lose?

| That's from my nearest station, Polegate in Sussex. 1 hour, 29 mins on the train each way (but only one change).

| Not as such - but the guy I saw (Head of Development, who would be my bosses boss) for the interview said that there is a pay review in April every year, and that from my CV, previous experience and my answers to his questions, I know quite a bit already and that he thinks I could pick things up pretty quickly.
