I'm hoping to sign a contract for a new job soon.

"Any continuing health problems?"

"No (not any more)"

Not starting a new thread and this is the only nhs one that was not closed.

Anyway we are having a new system brought into place across the country to replace the current one. Probably is the people who deisgned it somehow managed to feck it up and leave a massive design flaw in there. Its meant to go live in a couple of months (current being tested vy a small group of users)

No wonder the nhs is poo

Pricing Prescriptions. New system the computer using OCR will input 40% of them and we do the rest the computer cant handle.

Thing is current we do everything, but if we make a mistake we can go back and change it. The new system if you make a mistake, you cant change it. Meaning far too much is inaccurate

Genious

As ever the proof of the pudding will be in the eating. Knowing the NHS (as with other government organisations) - a major balls up is more than likely in the offing.
