I'll add a bit more

1) thread titles get one line only. enough with the ****ing run-ons. you're not witty and it isn't cute.

2) I'm not saying all long threads are bad. just some necessary consolidation. boring sports like rugby, cricket, darts, snooker, tennis and f1... you all get to share a thread. fanbois need their wii thread, ps3 thread, 360 thread, online games thread and halo thread... ONE thread. popular us import tv shows like 24, heroes and prison break...ONE thread.

3) along these same lines...if there's only 4 supporters posting in a club thread, I don't care if you have 56 pages - no club thread for you.

Some long threads can't help being very long, such as club threads and popular tv show threads as they go on over the course of a series or season. Where else is there to talk about them?

As much as I think the singles thread is full of crap, at least it keeps the crap in one place rather than several thread of.."oh my godz I spoke to a distinctly average girl what shall I do sponsored by me being a girl" and other random rubbish.

also get rid of all the US sport threads and give them one thread. Plus no-one really cares about brazillian football or the MLS, so whack all non-european football into one thread.
