Yes, I have heard the rumours, No I didn't think they could be that bad, Yes I was completely wrong about these bunch of labotomised cheesewits.
A few weeks ago I bought a decent computer from them on 6 months interest free finance - artly because knowing someone there I could get a discount on it and save a bit more. Take home set it up 2 initial problems. 1 the stand for the monitor doesn't fit, and more importantly the computer refused to boot up. Took it told they didn't have it in store so had to trundle over to another twon's PC world to get it replaced. Which i couldn't do initially due to them needing the discount number - so had to ring up the other store to get it, went back, replaced the computer and got the finance thing transferred. Fine.
Well that would have been too simple.
Been down at Uni for not even 2 weeks, and I got he blue screen of death on my computer can't even load it up at all. Took it to pC world here in Cardiff, they told me, to press F11 when loading it up. Great help, does feck all, wasted journey. then to compound my annoyance, I've got a letter through from the HFC finance company informing me of my apparent 48 month arrangement ive set up with them which will take 15 quid a month out of my acccount.
Which is horse ****. and now PC world **** up the finance thing so they'll be taking an extra 250 quid from me ( or a 50% increase on the price ) because of their total ****wittery. And my computer is buggered, and my box I bought it in is back at home so can't even get it replaced right now, whilst actually just considering getting a refund, getting the finance thing completely cancelled. Totally useless :
PC world are idiots, my sister got hers from there and they had no idea, couldn't fine the computer my sister reserved, then they kept f'in up at the till... so many problems.
most irritating thing really is the fact in sorting out the finance thing it can affect my credit score having to cancel the initial one and then if chose to re-do it under what id actually frigging asked for, so cancelling it is my plan. Annoyingly means I've got spend some cash buggering off back home to do it though, and as I can't get finance deals online, won't be able to get a new computer til xmas or so
On another note, never buy anything from WH Smith either. Their ink cartridges may sound sexy at buy one get one half price, but when then charge ten pounds more than Sainsburys anyway, it just ain't worth it. Also helped that the lady at Sainsburys is infinitely more fitter than any working at Smiths.

I wouldn't worry about that too much to be honest, as you can simply contact the credit scoring agencies and get it challenged. It is a fairly pain-free process if you have the paperwork to back up your claims.
