Hosting a desktop on a laptop?
Is there anyway I can use my desktop thru my laptop in the next room, that is use evertything that is running on the desktop but on the laptop?

Infact my mate once used that as he couldnt be bothered to get up to do something on his desktop, about 3 foot away

you can just use remote desktop thats part of windows - saves installing anything

VNC is very cool, but a bit jerky and slow.
Is the windows thing any smoother?
Is there anything that's pretty much the same as the real machine?
