Trying to work out the distance in miles between Carling Academy Liverpool and Wirral Eastham Travelodge (A41 Northbound, New Chester Road, Eastham Wirral CH62 9AQ)

Travelodge site says about 7.5 mile. If you put the postcodes into AA Route Finder it comes back with 16 miles. But putting the street name in its back to 8 miles

So which is it

Best thing to do is get the train from eastham station to liverpool lime street (it'll be direct) and its five mins from lime street (not even that).
YOu come out at the side entrance of lime street (by taxi rank) turn right, walk about 30 yards and its on the left.

Was hoping to get a taxi but seeing as i keep getting different results for the distance no idea what it may be. its because Everton are playing most hotels are fully booked

Simple answer to that is to get a night bus across to Birkenhead, and get a taxi from there. Saves on the tunnel fair also.
