This is possibly the most stupid gripe I'll have this side of 2012. **Most people won't care**
Today in Sainsburys myself and my friend John both purchased Chicken Fillet in a Bun. for our usual sugar-filled 6th former lunch. After paying at the counter as usual we went into the caff to get a sachet of tomato sauce each for the sandwich. We;re just walking away when some old biddy who worked in the caff said:
Biddy: "Whatever you've taken, put it back please."
Me: "I just want some sauce for my sandwich"
Biddy: "Just put it back please."
Me: "Look, I'll pay for it if you like."
Biddy: "Just put it back. You kids are all the same." (I'm 16 ffs)
Luckily, John managed to palm 2 sachets when she wasn't looking so crisis averted.
The point of this post (which 99% of forum members won't give a toss about) is why-o-why has the world turned so... stingy? I only wanted some sauce ffs, I even offered her 15p for 2 sachets, which could but her probably a whole new crate of sauce.
I can remember back a little while (not much mind) when people didn't pull you up for the tiniest things such as a sachet of sauce or a glass of water.
In fact, I've been going to that Sainsburys for 2-3 lunchtimes a week for the last 4 years. The least they owe me is some sauce ffs.
There. Warnock-style rant over
*braces self for onslaught of "who cares?" posts*

A kid.
Listen sonny, in our society exists the god-given right to make a lot of money on anything. There is no such thing as a free sachet of sauce, you'll deprive Mr Sainsbury and his crowd of managers of a well deserved extra fat bonus this way.
Then again, who cares?

I've asked before. They never have any there

Nah, the hot food counter
BUT...
I've spent enough of the aforementioned money at that caff. </BLOCKQUOTE>
could you not have just asked the woman at the cafe for a few sachets of sauce before you went up and took them? she'd have probably given them to you if you asked and i imagine that's why she was more annoyed.

Good point I spose,
Then again she only approached us after we'd taken them.
