Right - I'd been planning to get a PS3 on the day that Pro Evo comes out but, after playing the new FIFA on my mates 360 last night and, quite suprisingly, having a rather engoyable time on it, I've decided to bring the purchase forward to this week.

I've found what I think is a pretty spiffing deal with Game, but also have a few questions. Some of you work or have worked for Game no? I'm sure many of you know more than me about these things anyway - so a little help and advice would be great!
This is the deal i've been looking at. To be honest, I'm only really interested in Fight Night and the extra controller - the other games are ok I suppose.

1) Is this offer likely to be online only - or will I be able to take a printout into the shop to redeem it? I only ask as I had a quick glance in my local Game store today (right at closing time - like 16:57 - and there were loads of customers, so didn't get a chance to speak to any staff as they were all v.busy) and saw some of these mega packs advertised - but with rubbish games and no mention of the extra controller.

2) If I can get the offer in store - do you reckon they'll let me swap Resistance and F1 for FIFA?

3) I'm gonna trade some of my PS2 crap in with it... how much do you reckon I'll get for:

- PS2 (fat version) with 2 official controllers.
- FIFA 07
- MGS3 Snake Eater
- NBA Street 2
- Madden 2002

50p? £1?

3) Does the PS3 come with a HDMI cable in the pack, or am I going to have to purchase one of them as well?

I'm sure there are more questions... I'll let you know as I think of them?

The high definition PS3 next generation console doesnt have an HDMI cable with it in the box, buy it from play.com like me and it does.

1) Possibly, sometimes they are and sometimes not. Bringing a printout will not help
2) Again, possibly but I seriously doubt it. Your best bet is to trade both the games in and see if you have enough to buy FIFA
3) £30ish for the console, peanuts for the games
4) You need to buy a HDMI cable seperately. Game sell them for £12.99 but you can find them online for £1.

Ah, that's pretty smart - FIFA included. Do you know if that's available in the shop as well as online?

Play Fifa for a few hours solid first. You'll change your mind, it's like FM. New little touches all well presented, same old same old underneath.
