The point for me is why can't fcuking footballers treat the refs the same way Rugby players treat their refs?

you mean punch/bite/stamp on/kick/twist bollox of opposition players because they know the ref can't see and they can just forget about him? and when he does stick them in the sin bin for 5 mins then it was a small sacrifice to make anyway so they accept it.

When they do that they stamp on someone in the face or do something to an undefended player i think they get a 6 month ban or something. I prefer the honour of a good punch up. than Drogba, falling over after get the slightest touch.

well up until about 15 years ago there was no structured League competition for English domestic rugby clubs to participate in - hence the attention was mainly on the national team in competitive Test Matches.

Or summat like that

Biggest load of twaddle ever and gets rolled out on a regular basis. Not many players from "educated" backgrounds in places like Wales yet they still have the same respect as other players.

They punch each other in a bit of a fracas, then they're drinking with each other in the clubhouse at the end of it. It happens, they get severe punishments if it's done in a cowardly way.

Biting is very rare in rugby, again if caught they'll get severe punishments.

The stamping is a different thing. What a lot of non rugby people see as stamping is not stamping. It's rucking, they're trying to get the ball released which is part of the game, a lot of the time, they're stamping on the ball and if they happen to catch players hands, well tough as they shouldnt be there anyway. If it's a genuine stamp, then yeh, they get punished.

Do you think footballers don't kick other players or do little things off the ball? You play to the referee, if they allow things or don't spot things, you try and get away with it.

Rugby players in general will show a lot more respect, they won't abuse the referee, if he tells them to cut something out when he spots something, they'll usually do it. They don't answer back, they get on with things. For you to paint the picture of rugby you have above, to me shows a complete ignorance for the sport.
