I got an LG Prada phone today on Vodafone.

However afetr i had sent texts out to my contacts to tell them i had a new number i got some replies back from random people asking who i was and why i had sent them a text with my new number.

Anyone else had this problem with Vodafone

no mate, i only text people who know who i am so it's not really an issue for me

Nope, I didn't get them preblems. Ring up one of your 'contacts' and ask who the hell they are.

No. But then I kept my old number from those rip-off merchants at 3. My wife didn't have that problem when I swapped her over though. Sounds very odd indeed.
