Don't get me wrong. I still like a few beers now and then. But I can't be arsed getting drunk if truth be told. I hated waking up the next day wondering where I was, Like this one time I woke up in an Alcohol Abuse Clinic

I hate having no memory of the night before and if i made an arse of myself. I actually like waking up and feeling ok and energised. I'm getting old right

Mind you I have always hated clubs so atleast thats not changed... Maybe it's not even just getting drunk. Maybe I just dont enjoy alcohol anymore.

For the record. I've only had about 3 beers this month and even then I couldn't be arsed

I still do like a good pish-up, but it's only once per two weeks these days and I never ever had a blackout. Getting drunk is fun, letting it get completely out of control is stupid.

I only get drunk when I start at midday and someone else is buying. So yes, it takes quite a quantity.

Unless as Keyser wisely points out sangria is 80 cents a litre in the local Lidl. Then the whole thing can be over quite quickly, cheaply, painlessly and messily.
