Why is it necessary that one must get wasted when one drinks ?
| Thats English people for ya. When in German their drinking culture was perfect for me. They enjoy drinking, but no not to late it too far

Every time i get hammered i always wonder why the hell i bother doing it and why dont i not have that last couple of drinks or something. Does happen again obviously. I drink alot at home as well. In fact, i drink pretty much every day at home, which i tend to enjoy going more than going out these days.
I dont go out drinking as much as i used to as i generally just cant be bothered but i do like drinking

I stopped getting drunk years ago.
now, if/when I go out, I usually have a couple of trappists (strong, belgian beer - about 8/9% of alcohol) before heading home.
when I stay in with or without the girlfriend, I smoke a bit of weed - no alcohol needed.

I got to that stage a few years ago so gave up alcohol completely. Do not miss it at all and still have a great time when I go out. I am also a taxi for others now, so they like it too!

I don't enjoy it overly, mainly as i can be a lightweight. I mean, im not talking about casually drinking beers all day, that I can do. But going out to clubs and getting so drunk im ill, i can't, just don't get what's so fun. I'll dance and have fun and not gaf whilst sober so really can't see the benefits.

I'm definitely getting old. Now I don't get drunk, I get tired and have to stop drinking.
