Been in a few states recently. One which resulted in me being in bed by 6.30pm last Saturday.Always tell myself I'm gong to not drink so much for a bit but with a Stag Weekend in Benidorm coming up in 2 weeks I may wait until after that

I enjoy drinking with mates but I utterly hate the drinking culture that you have to surround yourself with if you go out in england.

Why is it necessary that one must get wasted when one drinks ?

I fecking hate it. Having a bladder that only holds about a gill is just one reason. (Is why I'll drink rum rather than beer, after the first couple).

The main reason is that the only places I drink these days are when I'm away from home, meaning I have to drive home again and the <STRIKE>law</STRIKE> World doesn't like drunk drivers.

I may have let go a bit during the meetups I've attended, as no driving was involved. And even then I didn't get wasted.

No matter how drunk I get, I never have a headache in the morning or suffer memory loss. I have a bad taste in my mouth, which I imagine is more to do with not brushing my teeth after drinking, and I guess my body feels 'heavy'.
