Phil, Phil, Phil...Yak was fantastic for us, he was an out and out goal scorer, something we no longer have at the club. HE earned a fair few of the pens he converted. He banged goals in for fun and then well...lost his touch and lost his spark and a move was the best thing for all parties.

I dont believe he is over rating himself, he is fb. HE scored goals for fun at Pompy, he scored a bucketful for us and will do for everton. Imagine him and Mido up front would be fantastic.

But he has proven over time he likes to spit out his dummy and move along to bigger ponds everynow and again.
Good luck to the lad, i hope he has a stinker against us, but when Everton come to our place i wont be one of the thousands boo'ing him like they all did Viduka.

They were good players for our club and in a way were better players than i thought we could attract at the time.
he wasn't fantastic for us, he was very good on (rare) occasion, but he never reached anywhere near his full potential and if he thinks that he has then he's a bigger waster than I thought.

he was our 3rd choice striker in his 1st season, and only played for half of last season as we had no other option.

i'll be booing him when he comes back, he deserves it ten times more than viduka did.

Tim Howard and Mikel Arteta are back for Everton, but Andrew Johnson misses out for the game against Boro.

Alan Stubbs keeps his place in defence, while Yakubu, playing against his former club, partners James McFadden up front.

Leon Osman misses out entirely and there's a recall for Andy van der Meyde on the substitutes bench.

Arteta is joined in midfield by Phil Jagielka, Phil Neville and Steven Pienaar.

The rest of the defence consists of Leighton Baines, Tony Hibbert and Joleon Lescott.

van der Meyde is joined on the bench by Joseph Yobo, Lee Carsley, Victor Anichebe and Stefan Wessels.

Sweet Jesus, I did it again. I blame in the inclusion of Hibbert.
