| you lose a third of it to tax/NI tax is 22% and NI is 11%.
My annual bonus was 14.1% this year. Plus we've had a additional £750 so far this year and are due to get a further 31500 when the sale of the buisness is complete which should be round 6-8 weeks time so fingers crossed we get the £1500 (£1000 after taxtion) before xmas

We don't get a christmas bonus, it's paid in April. Not seen the final calculations yet as it's partly based on company earnings and personal year end reviews...so there's a company wide part and an individual performance add-on.
It also forms part of you pay review. So get the bonus but also have that amount added to your basic anual salary for the next year...
