So some stupid bint decides she wants to refuse to do it, but her colleagues, who are of the same faith, have no problem?

Surely the fact it's therefore not seen as being against somebodies religion should mean they should sack this person for refusing to do their job? It's not discrimination if it's not specificially against their religion, surely?

Why the hysterical over-reaction?

Nobody is being put out by it in any real way. The individual is still doing the vast majority of their job.

If someone else wasn't willing to sell condoms or pork and the company said they couldn't support them in the same way I'd have an issue with it...but if they are simply trying to support their staff's wishes without causing any problems for the customers (or other staff) I don't see a problem.
