Tennis coach denies sex assault
A schoolgirl claimed she had a sexual relationship with her top female tennis coach, a court has been told. The girl, aged 13, was allegedly found by her mother in bed with coach Claire Lyte, aged 29, Liverpool Crown Court heard on Monday. Miss Lyte, from Solihull in the West Midlands, denies five counts of sexual activity with a child. In a police interview, the teenager explained how she knew what she and Miss Lyte were doing was wrong. It is alleged that the teenager, who cannot be named, was sexually assaulted in October 2005 after a tennis tournament.
Repeated warnings
In the police interview used as evidence in court, the girl said: "I was scared of saying anything. "Tennis wasn't working out and I was scared of what would happen if I said something." Peter Davies, prosecuting, told the court that after the girl's mother discovered her daughter and the coach in bed together a huge row ensued between the adults. But despite this the mother allowed her daughter to be coached by Miss Lyte until March 2006, when she made an official complaint to police. The barrister said: "The relationship between coach and student transcended the bounds of a normal relationship. "And despite repeated warnings the defendant continued." Mr Davies told the jury the mother decided not to report Miss Lyte initially because of her daughter's strong feelings for the tennis coach.
Only in Liverpool tbh. I feel a minutes silence needs to be held in memory of only blokes being dirty paedohpiles. I in no way endorse sexual behaviour with minors btw.

as if the first time wasn't really that bad, as long as she didn't do it again.
