getting a Dog

I am looking at getting a Dog and was wondering where I might be able to find places which re-home rescued Dogs ( I have tried the RSPCA ) in the Suffolk area.

Stick dogs home & Suffolk in google and you get some choice.

Are you looking at a certain breed, as most breeds have rescue centres covering each part of the UK.

not really, i dont want a small annoying yappy terrier type dog, or a nasty dog like a rottweiler, but apart from that, and the fact that it would need to be ok around cats, theres no restrictions.

I wouldnt say rotties are nasty, its the d*ck head owners who buy them as a status symbol that make them that way, the ones I know are great.

I know labrador rescue have a rescue centre covering the east and south east. They maybe worth a look. Here is one of them Lab South east.
