Was in remotest Ireland two weeks ago, walked into a bar, and it had an Aussie serving with Aussie Rules on TV \o/
Madness, Brisbane - Sydney I think it was, don't understand all the rules but it's a good sport to watch

Fell ib love with AFL in my recent trip to Aus. Its great  I think I was at that St Kilda V Hawks game at Telstra Dome a few rounds ago. It was bad. Hoping for a win against those damn Swans |

The pace of the modern game and simple attrition, I guess. Lists are smaller these days, so I suppose older players are in danger of being delisted if they don't perform, and with strong drafts in the last few years, there's a lot of competition for places.
Last night, St. Kilda were knocked out of the finals without even playing - Adelaide's win over Collingwood ensured they got a place in the top-8. Just in case St Kilda fans didn't have enough reason to hate Collingwood...

| IIRC every Swans home game is televised in Ireland, since they have Tadgh Kennelly in their side (though not recently due to his injuries). Wonder if they will pick up Collingwood and Brisbane games since they both have Irish players now...

I got it for Christmas when it came out and I was so excited because I thought it would be JUST AS FUN as CM. Tried to install it and didn't have a good enough graphics card.
2 years later I got a new comp. Installed it and played about 15 minutes of a quarter before I completely gave up on it. Endless ball-ups, confusing camera angles and terrible tactics. |
