tbf, Geelong's hardly the cultural or educational capital of Australia.

So it's feral vs feral imo. May the most feral win.

Geez, I was going to get on this morning and tip Port in a close one. Instead, Geelong has killed them - it's all over at half time...

Really happy for all the Geelong past players, officials and fans who have had to wait so long. Seeing Billy Brownless shed a tear was awesome. It really shows the magnitude of what this means for the club.

And I like seeing Port get comprehensively embarrassed.

Many people have compared it to the feeling of Sydney supporters in 2005. I disagree.

Far too many of the Swans fans abandoned the club in the early 90s. I remember at some points we barely had enough to put together a banner in Melbourne games, and indeed, outside of NSW and Vic, Sydney didn't even have a banner to run through.

Hearing all those supporters who jumped back on the club when it was successful saying how long they'd waited made me sick.

In contrast, Geelong supporters have stuck with the club, albeit with the side coming closer to a flag than Sydney did. I'm delighted for my family, which contains plenty of truly dedicated Cats fans, and for all those who had to wait so long.
