We'd be screwed. There's no two ways about it, if they can cross interstellar space then they've got technology far in advance of our own.

I was talking about humanity uniting. Say if a massive asteroid was going to hit earth would we come together to stop it ect

Personally I'd like to think I would. But in the event I'd probably go hide in a cave and hope they go away.

I reckon there would be a fair lot of people sticking together and that is only good. Everyone would be fighing against a common enemy for a start and as long as we weren't outgunned then I think it would be OK
