I'm looking to trade in a load of games to put towards some xbox360 purcahses. Where is best to go?

My brother got a great deal on trade in with Game so am edging towards them.

selling them on eBay the best I find now, as trade ins just arn't worth it

If you just want money, ebay probably gets you more. My local independant does a better deal on actual trade-ins than the Game in Guildford. That was a few months back though, and I've no idea what deals Game has on 360's these days.

Haven't really got the time to do this though.

I don't understand why people say they don't have the time for ebay. Unless you have 50 games or something silly. It's a very simple process that takes a few minutes to set-up, then you just sit on your backside and wait for it to sell.

Can't be that busy, surely?

yeah surley more effort driving out into town and actully trading them in, takes like 2 minutes to package a game up

I just think ahead and by stamps when I go food shopping tbh. And there are tons of post boxes on my way to work, plus the work post as well.

I guess if you have an inability to think ahead with the stamps, and live miles from a postbox, then it could be an issue.

Sit down with the 10 games I'm getting rid of.

Photograph them all.

Log onto eBay and create 10 individual listings.

Wait 5-7 days for someone to maybe buy them.

Wait for payment.

Buy 10 padded envelopes.

Package said 10 games up making sure I get the right person per game on the envelope.

Go into town and wait in line for the postie.

Process said games and pay postage.

Wait for rip-off merchants to get gobby.

Re-list anything that didn't sell.

Look at the pitiful amount I got after PayPal and eBay fees.


VERSUS. Going into town, giving to bloke, getting credit, getting what I want, go home.
