So last week looking for cars on ebay just on the off chance \i could find a wee bargain as my Brava is done with head gasket leak.

So see a little Punto going for just £1020 with 11 mins to go.. so I bid and eventually get it for £1040 on Friday night there.

Phone the guy on Saturday and text get no answer, busy all day Sunday so don't get the chance but on The Monday of this week ext to say I will get out to pick it up and pay the cash that night.

Only to be told "car sold" saying someone put a deposit down on Saturday

Now I got right on the case for him to explain

"tried calling you, get people not turning up buying car etc...

No wfind the very same car listedd by the same owner today for offers over £1300!!!

I am absolutely raging, have tried contacting to no availand have since reported to ebay.

Have I a right to feel aggrieved?

Pretty sure an ebay bid/sale constitutes a legal contract.

Guy put plane on ebay, it got sniped for 85k less than someone offline agreed to pay moments before the auction ended, went to court = hand over the plane.
