Rangers did well. Lyon fans must have been gutted, all the chances off the woodwork.

To be honest to those doubting Lyon's credientials Keita one of there signings this summer cost them around £12 million...Rangers signed essentially a whole new team for the same fee |

| Agree, I'm a Lyon fan and we've been playing horribly bad this season so far, we pulled a few victories out of our asses because the French League is so poor but in Europe we can definitely tell the difference... the manager change and the injury don't help but the overall strengh of the squad is definitely much weaker than this past few seasons.

For Lyon I wouldn't call it being clueless but outdated definitely, when the draw was made I personally said that Lyon wouldn't qualify... unfortunately my prediction looks pretty damn good so far.

Why did Rangers have their sponsors covered over on their shirts last night?
I'm sure they did, didn't see the match just caught a quick glimpse of a rangers player celebrating a goal and where the sponsor is appeared black.

| In France you are not allowed gambling/alcohol/cigarette etc type sponsors on the shirts.

| What, you mean in January when we had no manager and six of our starting line up last night hadn't joined the club? Good comparison!

Granted, but I still wouldn't call it clueless to think that Rangers hadn't improved enough in those six months to qualify ahead of the German and French champions, along with Barcelona. It's obvious you are in a much better state now than you were in January, but Jesus it's not surprising that no one thought you were amongst Europes elite in September.

What about two weeks ago when you got humped by Hearts? It isn't the strangest thing to think you'd have been the whipping boys. Granted, that notion has been proved wrong but there's no need to get so defensive about it when even your own fans thought the same thing.
