Not that I know of. Can't see why they'd penalise you for having it in credit. I've had that a couple of times and not had anything adverse happen to me.

sure i heard a while ago that its the credit card companies way of getting back for the credit tarts and all the charge claims. Having a card in credit or not using it enough was being touted as attracting charges

I was in the same position through some large betting wins a while back, couldn't get Barclaycard to refund the credit without closing the account. So I just used it for what it was: actual real credit. Switched all my spending to the Barclaycard for a couple of months, so that I wasn't having to spend any "real" money. Hey presto, your actual bank account will be £300 better off.
