do a proper subject . With Chem i had 12 hrs a week labs, with writeups having to be done aswell. also about 8 hrs of lectures and extra tutorials and stuff aswell.

I ended up leaving uni because of little time I spent on my course. One lecture* a week along with a tutorial and the rest of the time was "your own personal study time". Just led me to being more lazy.
Photography just wasn't the right choice.

*see watching a video or looking at slides for an hour.

Go to the library and do some reading. You're bound to have a reading list, and I wouldn't have thought you'd 'finished' it. And even if you have, grab some books mentioned in the other books' bibliographies and read them. If you have an interest in the course you're doing then it'll be enjoyable and productive, setting you up very nicely for any upcoming assessments.

At undergrad I ****ed about for the first year, then worked a fair bit in the second and third. Having done two years in employment and now coming BACK to uni to do a masters, I'm a lot more appreciative of the flexibility and the sheer fact that it actually interests me and intellectually stimulates me, something I've really missed. I spent much of the first two days in the library, and I'm going in again soon.

My sister had 6 hours a week first year in university.

I found lecturers were normally only useful for a basic overview of the subject you'll only really learn at uni if you attack the reading list with avengence.

In the first and second years i had 4 units a week each being 2 hour lectures plus a seminar depending on the unit.

Stopped going to seminars after the first semester in the first year myself.

I have 11 hours per week of lectures. In the library now...having to justify if the policies of the 2012 olympics are being implemented effectively or not....soo boring...is it wrong to find OTF more interesting than my degree

well, you're probably right, I was always good at maths, did it at A level, went on to do accounting/law at uni and we did an advanced maths module in 1st year and it pretty much flumoxxed me tbh. i seem to remember matrices being involved.

I got more than 40%, I just failed one exam twice (corporate governance iirc) so they made me go away for a year and come back and resit it. quite lucky they didnt kick me out really
