I'm on about 8 hours a week at the moment, and that'll drop down to 7 between weeks 4 and 9 (with me being off Wednesday's and Friday's).

Doesn't mean the course is easy though. I have to use that time for reading just to try and stay ahead of the curve.

find some other stuff to do.. surely there are other people with minimal lectures. if you want to work go and do extra reading.

just enjoy the city/campus tbh, both afb.

i'm only doing 6 hours a week. i do have a dissertation to write, however.

I'm in my third year and have 6, sometimes 7, hours a week, but I easily have more work and less free time than my previous years when I had 12 and 10 hours respectfully.

you'll probably find that some reading kicks in. you've only been there a few weeks.

They are always **** easy just as they need to get everybody up to the same level so dont worry it will get harder im sure.

Also you're "meant" to do like one hour in lectures in lectures at least one hour of your own study.

Or if you are bored of things to do I recommend the casino, it does good chicken wings.

Stop boasting, it's the second week of term ffs. Come back when you're cramming for your finals and tell us if you are being 'underchallenged' then.

Having said that, when I did my degree my first and second year marks were so good that I only needed 40% or more on my final year exams to get a 2.1 overall. This was at Warwick. Basically I rule.

well, you're probably right, I was always good at maths, did it at A level, went on to do accounting/law at uni and we did an advanced maths module in 1st year and it pretty much flumoxxed me tbh. i seem to remember matrices being involved.
