Jury service

Does anyone have/know of any examples (newspaper web articles, for example) of cases when someone who was on jury service has been removed from their job because of it?

I know it's illegal - or rather, I think it is - and I fear I'm fighting a losing battle. Cheers

Yeah but my argument is that I bet it has happened before at least once and I need some proof to win the argument.

Whats % of people will actually get called up for jury service? Id hate it, unless its a murder trial would be boring

I'd like to say i'd find it fun to tell other jurors "i can tell he's guilty, look at his eyes" but i know that i'd not be able to do that in reality, what with having people's lives in my hands.
