CyberNations in an incredibly addictive, and, more importantly, free, online nation management game with a huge following world-wide. Participation can vary from spending just a minute or two each day managing your nation to spending hours getting involved in the various war, managament and political issues affecting your nation.

With 81 members of the SI forums now actively playing CyberNations the OTF Alliance has grown very strong, very quickly.

Our Government is now established, and we are well underway in organising many aspects of the game which will allow our Alliance to function well, notably in the provision of financial aid to young nations looking to establish themselves.

We are looking to sustain our excellent growth rate, and invite new members to participate.

Any tips worth knowing before I set up a nation?

1. Choose your username and nation name carefully; they can't be changed.
2. Set your team to Brown
3. Set your Alliance membership to 'OTF Alliance'
4. Read the New Player Guide in the OTF Forum

Once you're set up on the forum there are plenty places to ask for help.

With nobody to tell me what to do I have pretty much lost interest already.

There's a thread in the alliance forum that gives advice and information to beginners. I think it's in the 'library' section, should help you get going.

Then you just need to get trading with other nations, pay your bills every day, and collect taxes (by leaving it a few days before you collect your taxes you gain interest) then once you have some money you can buy infrastructure, technology, land, soldiers etc.

Joined the alliance and i'll give it a proper look tomorrow. Need to mow the lawn before I head out to watch transformers with my lady.
