Default I have no idea how to cook and yet I've volunteered to do it! (Pt2 of my uni course is too easy)

erm, so yeah. Mates 19th on monday, and for some reason we're all going to cook a proper meal before going out to get royally ratarsed.

To which i said "i could try and make chinese style beef/chicken/noodles? I mean i've got all the free time in the world?"

ipso facto, i'm now buggered.

help me please! i'm pretty sure that as long as no-one dies it'll be fine.

Buy:

Buy a Noodle sauce. It will be in the section where they sell noodles and chinese sauces.

Read the instructions on the sauce packet, buy ingredients.

Spaghetti Bolognese is one of the easiest meals to make.

You need:

1 Onion
500g of mince
1 clove of garlic
1 tin of tomatoes
mixed herbs (and a bay leaf or two)
Salt and Pepper
A glass or 2 of red wine
Tomato paste

Chop and fry the onion and garlic until brown.
Add mince cook until brown.
Add tomatoes, wine, a large dollop of paste, herbs and salt and pepper.
Stir
cover
leave on low heat for 1hr
Serve with spaghetti and garlic bread.

Job done and should cost you about a £10 or so to make (with a bottle of red wine to polish while you wait).
