might be pretty nifty if the kegs were stocked by all the main shops.

i got a cheapo version of this for christmas last year - basically a massive tube with another thinner tube inside that you fill with ice to keep it cool, and a tap thingy at the bottom. novelty wore off very quickly, but then the beer tended to go flat very quickly as well.

yep basically huge novelty with zero long term usage.

going to get a perfectly chilled can/bottle from the fridge every so often is hardly a chore. and generally in groups anyway, so even less times for each individual to get up.

Did it tonight, walked in grabbed 4 bottles from the cooler, said hello to some staff and regulars, walked out.

So much better than anything that is Carlsberg.
