In Scotland children have an automatic right to a share of their parents' estates. It's either 50% or 25%, but i'd have to check up to be completely sure.
So she'd be able to claim her rights up here, if they had all been Scottish. As it is, the English law is a bit different, so good luck to her.

what JK said tbh, it's not her money anymore than it is mine, unless she can prove she helped her parents attain it then she's got absolutely no claim over it, giving it to the RSPCA though is just moronic.

Strange how if you live with a woman she gets entitled to half what you own, whereas if you live with your parents you just have to hope they're not *****, as your entitlement is diddly-squat.
