OXM gave it 10/10, but you can take that with a pinch of salt.

I'd only seen a couple of early trailers and it looked fairly average, but after watching this feature about the game environment, I'm sold.

i've seen a brilliant demo of bioshock on a previous pczone dvd.
the way it moves and the way you interact with the surrounding is amazing.

didn't think much of Stranglehold myself when I heard it was a John Woo production, just thought it would be a bit crappy - but I pre-ordered it on the basis of playing the demo through a few times :cool: although I did have two mates telling me it was amazing before they had even seen it

More likely to trust a mag review in a PC mag than something like Gamesmaster or something equally as bad for 'children' so 96% is indeed a good score that.

Indeed. FIFA 99 was given an 11 out of 10 (not sure by which reviewer) and we all know how well that turned out. In fact, the same can be said of the entire FIFA series.

I looked at clips on youtube last night about it, I didn't think much of it tbh, doom 3 looks better, I missed out on the beta which was annoying.
