I've moved to uni and they want to install a load of protective software on my computer before they will let me on to the uni network...fair enough.
When they went to install it, they said that the zonealarm firewall didnt work with the 64 bit vista and that i would have to stay offline until a newer version of zonealarm came out or that i should buy a new operating system, neither of which suit very well. i queried that the windows firewall would surely do until a new version of zonealarm came out, but they were having none of it.
Can anyone reccommend a free/cheapish but good firewall that i can propose to them as an alternative that will work with 64 bit vista.
