| A bit too subtle for some here, you forgot to mention that he was drinking a pint of milk at the time. |

I love the change of tune on the Celtic boards btw. From "we're doomed" right after the game, to "they will be wrong to even fine us" yesterday |

Rangers fans, always dying for publicity | tbh, we won against Lyon who I know aren't as good now as I've heard it mentioned about 50 times this week, who hadn't been beaten at home since 2003
I don't rate Milan, it was a good performance from Celtic and they did deserve the win from the highlights I saw, but Milan are a team with some class players (Rino, Pirlo, Kaka, Ronaldo when he's fit, Nesta, Pippo) and some utterly less than average ones (Dida, Seedorf, Ambrosini, Gilardino) not actually sure who played for Milan, but I reckon they jammed the CL last year anyway
as I said I'm not taking away from Celtic as beating the European champs is a big achievement, but winning away in Europe (which us and Celtic have found difficult in recent times) and to do it so convincingly was just the better result for me  yes I know Lyon are not as good, but they did spend £12m on one player, we used about £10m or so to make a team
we'll probably get gumped by Hibs at the weekend anyway

I don't think Dida should be punished at all, except maybe by Milan for his feigning of an injury.
Celtic should be fined and possibly forced to play a game behind closed doors. No need for the points deduction, I don't think.

What Jvovk says makes the most sense in this thread. Dida's reaction is mostly irrelevant tbh. Gordon Smith, being the utter moron he is, claiming it was only a 'friendly tap' is bollox too.
The issue goes beyond one game and what the other people in here have said is correct, Celtic fans tend to have a history. Jim can quite smartly point to some singing of some silly songs in an attempt at what I presume is humour, but when did songs ever physically harm someone. I can see why he might want to defend his club, but if it had been Rangers rest assured Jimbhoy would have been calling for a ban and points deduction.
As I said in the Celtic thread, it would be ludicrous to overturn the result, as the incident had no direct outcome on that. The game was to all intents and purposes over, even if Dida had been stabbed. However, despite that there was a very clear breach of security. Fair enough the guy didn't have a weapon of any kind, but what if he had had?
It's a shame that one total idiot has spoiled what had otherwise been a great week for Scottish football. It would also be a shame of anything more than a severe fine was imposed on Celtic - perhaps the loss of the money gained for the points?

I also don't really understand why a Morton fan is so obsessed with Celtic.

Gary looked like he was going for oneupmanship I was playing the same game, chasing tails are we.
