Number 7 you're the only person in the thread who thinks this is a big deal. Dida hears a journalist saying something in English to him, doesn't know how to speak English, so says 'sorry, I don't speak English' back to him, which is a sentence I imagine he'd have to use a lot.

A hell of a lot of people who don't speak English know how to tell people they can't speak it, you see it whenever you go abroad. Let alone a high-profile footballer who's going to be asked questions a lot.

If someone spoke to me in french i could say "Je ne parle pas Francais" in a french accent without knowing what the other person is saying. Quite how you've come to the conclusion that this is a "f**k up" is beyond me. I can only assume it's because you're 12.
