wait, is Wes gonna be back? thatd be a bonus
and re: Pique... alright I know he's played a bit at CM... but I just dont know if he's ready to do it for us in the Premiership... then again you only really find out by throwing em in at some stage. meh.
I wouldn't be unhappy with Pique in there, but would still probably pick O'Shea for his experience advantage.

Team fwiw is hopefully going to be -
Kirkland
Melchiot Bramble Boyce Kilbane
Valencia Landzaat Brown Kilbane
Bent Aghahowa
Subs:
Olembe
Scharner
Sibierski
Pollit
Skoko
Hutch wont rest players and allow us to roll over in games like this like the former manager did.

ACou why?
You can play Giggs who might suprise us all and not put in a p!ss poor performance but then why break the habit of the season or Sheasy who if we are lucky will let the whole game pass him by or we can scream at him as he stands off his man and lets him fire a few at our goal.
Pique has played central midfield for us before, from the bench but still and has started there in spain. tbh the lads just better than Sheasy and at this point i'd play my gran instead of Giggs.

i'm in the middle of a pretty heated debate on RedNews at the minute, pretty much arguing on my own that we need a defensive midfielder. my opponents all seem to think 'ah, it's wigan at home, we want goals ffs not another 1-0, play anderson or scholes'. they seem to think playing a defensive midfielder is some sort of overly negative tactic whereas packing the side with attack-minded players will guarantee goals. morons.
if we play Scholes and Anderson/Giggs, i can see Koumas having a field day and all the space in the world.

not sure if you're saying I wanted Giggs to play? but if so, you misread my post.
and I realise Pique has some playing experience in CM... but I just feel O'Shea has more... and yeah he can be a passenger but I guess I'm thinking the Premiership experience is important.
I dont know, maybe I'm not being fair on Pique and he should definitely be ahead of JOS. like I said, wouldnt be unhappy either way.
