Best atmosphere from away supporters I can remember at Roots Hall has to come from Luton Town believe it or not. This was when both Southend and Luton were in what is now League Two. Luton were going for promotion at the time and they filled the entire North Bank and never stopped singing from before kick-off right up until the ref blew the final whistle.
At another game I went to this time at non-league level, the game was between Chelmsford City and Merthyr Tydfil at the old New Writtle Street ground, luckily at non-league level you can swap ends at half-time and be behind the goal that your team is kicking. The second half began and we were standing at the open end, the way City were kicking when an almighty ran storm kicked in and the entire terrace full of City fans (probably about 250 fans) started making their way down to the covered Wolsey Road end which was made up of about 30-40 Merthyr fans, and have to say it was quite good and there was a lot of friendly banter between both sets of fans, with boths sets of fans chanting "If you all hate Grantham clap your hands". Pretty good really, and I've never witnessed such friendly banter at another ground since.

Newcastle, as they are the only away club I remember ever making an amiable takeover of the Goalpost. West Ham were always pretty good as well.
Weird Wolves fans being wellr egarded, as at home we tend to be useless most of the time. Very, very jittery.

| A replica top is colours, no ? As is a scarf and a hat. Just because Man United choose not to do that, shouldn't give the right to pour scorn on others for doing so.

We don’t wear colours cos we’re proper fans and want to distance ourselves from the polyester clad happy clappy easy chanting scum who infest every other ground.

the mere thought of "Geordies" and "superior" in the same paragraph makes me want to laugh like I've just read something really funny.
Dont have a problem with replica shirts, I guess because we dont have day-tripper fans.

I've worn various portugal, holland, serbia shirts before, just don't feel the need to advertise my support.
