my mates a brickie. only just left school and hes on £250 a week. so pretty good money

The brickie i was a labourer for was on £200 a day on the private job he took and we worked on that for a year, so it's pretty decent depending on how good you are/the contract you get is

my old man is a builder of sorts. does building, groundworks, pipelines etc.

Gets at least 12 quid an hour.

Was foreman for a while and got about 18 quid iirc.

Training to drive a dumper atm and that would be about 900 quid a week before tax.

The degree i'm studying for seems completely redundant

The site staff we have on out books are on silly money. 26 year old QS on £33/hour Project Managers on £28+/hour. I wish I had studied to work in construction.
