Fulham vs Pompey - Sunday 7th October 16:10 KO - SS1
Quote:
Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp will be hoping for more of the same when his side face Fulham on Sunday.
Pompey travel to Craven Cottage on the back of a 7-4 win over Reading and will be out for a repeat performance in the 50th competitive meeting between Portsmouth and Fulham.
Fulham - who are without a win in six Premier League matches - will be looking to build on last weekend's 0-0 draw with Chelsea in a match which can be seen live on Sky Sports 1.
Portsmouth striker Nwankwo Kanu is back in contention for a starting place after shaking of a knee injury and will battle with last week's hat-trick hero Benjani Mwaruwari.
Available
Lauren, who limped out of a midweek reserve fixture with a tight hamstring, is also available for the trip to London.
However, Glen Johnson is expected to continue at full-back after impressing since his arrival at the club.
Former Fulham man Papa Bouba Diop is also set to line up against his old side, following a £3milllion transfer deadline day switch to Fratton Park, and he will be keen for his four-game unbeaten start to his Pompey career to continue.
Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez must decide between Diomansy Kamara, Clint Dempsey or David Healy in attack.
Recall
The latter two received the nod against Chelsea and could be in line again as Sanchez rotates his squad.
Danny Murphy could be in line for a starting place after impressing from the bench in recent outings.
Antti Niemi, who has been recalled to the Finland squad for the forthcoming Euro 2008 qualifier with Belguim, will be keen to regain his place in the Fulham goal after making way for Kasey Keller last weekend.
Meanwhile, long-term absentee Jimmy Bullard has targeted a Christmas comeback from the knee injury he sustained against Newcastle in September 2006
A second consecutive Premiership away win would be good here, hopefully there'll be some goals.
