Inspired by me realising that I've never seen Four Weddings and a Funeral, Raging Bull, or The Shawshank Redemption.

And before you call me a heretic , it actually shocked me to realise that I'd never sat down and watched them; I just assumed I had seen them because of the number of references to them in other places. I can quote bits of the Shawshank Redemption for example, and carry on a coherent conversation on why Raging Bull is a great film, but it'd all be third hand snippets that everyone knows.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Only saw the first Godfather film this year. Still haven't seen the others.

There's probably loads more but I don't watch that much telly so I'm sure there's lots I've missed out on.

I hate Scarface, its a really boring film.

Other than that I've not seen
LOTR or Harry Potter.
