Obviously we don`t expect khan to fight the top fighters yet but he should be stepping up in class and warren just isn`t doing that, apart from limond all khan`s fighters have been the same so he isn`t learning anything, he should be fighting boxers of limond`s class but with bigger punchers not back to journeymen who are never gonna trouble him, khan could have 25 fights with that type of fighter and learn nothing because he hasn`t been pushed. Jon thaxton has been rumored to be his next opponent, he will give him a good fight and he can punch, just ask hatton who thaxton knocked down, i hope this fight goes ahead, it should be a good one.

Calzaghe's better than Hatton though </BLOCKQUOTE>
yep, and when Hatton was at the same stage that Khan is now (14 fights in i think?) he was fighting the world famous mark ramsey at the doncaster dome, while joe Calzaghe was winning his first belt....the British super middleweight title. It was 8 more fights and two more years till he beat Eubank.
Khan should skip the british scene and aim at the european title as thats close to the level he is probably fighting at right now.
Sometimes i think he is a little rushed in is work and his ring craft isnt good enough by far currently and wont improve if he doesnt have the chances to fight some decent boxers soon.
His hand speed is awesome though and if he can keep that chin in a bit better he could go far... very far
