Sonic Waffle and Unrelative are better than Randomist.

Fizzy Logic will be out in a month, but it's also not as good as the first two.

Saw him in Cardiff last year and Swansea this year. Both times in the front row, both times he mercilessly ripped the **** out of my mate

Seen him two other times as well. First time was on the Sonic Waffle tour I think, and it's his best show imo.

I went to the cinemas tonight. He's doing a live show which is going to be shown in Vue Cinemas. 21st of October iirc. I may go and watch.

Going to the cinema to see stand-up seems like an absolutely dire idea.

I'm positive that he'll be thought of in the same way as Peter Kay by next year - a bit of a sell-out who regurgitates his best material for the unititiated, in order to appeal to a wider audience.

Agreed on the first thing.

Think he's far too random for the second

He's not actually very random. A lot of his stuff is very solidly thought-out and rehersed before the show.

Any time he goes off on a tangent to tell a story - he does it every show on that tour at some point.

It's never in the same order, but it'll be in there somewhere.

It's only the crowd interaction that's random, and as always that's the best part of his shows.

Obviously he comes out with ideas/material/stories that he knows he's going to tell, hes just random in where he all fits everything in.

For instance if somehow he was talking about a fishmonger at one gig, I don't think hed make a point of telling the same story to every audience.

Having been to multiple shows on one of his tours, about 75% of the show is the same, just in a different order.
