Okay so I saw something the other day, which at first I accepted and then a long bus ride home caused me to think about it, and the more I thought it about, the more pointless it seemed.
So anyway, there's a bus service near us which go by the name of Macphersons, now this company do a lot of coach travel, holiday trips, that sort of thing. Not so much one for the public bus, however there is one route they run which conveniently takes me home from sixth form everyday for 95p.
Now this bus is like most other buses except...it has brail on the stop buttons, you know the little red buttons you press when you want the bus to stop. Well these have brail on them, now at first I thought nothing of it, pat on the back for considering the blind people. Blind People as in people who cannot see, people who wouldn't know when the bus was going to stop anyway.
So OTF can you tell me what the brail on these stop buttons is for?
Cheers

Blind people can however hear and so can listen and count the number of times the doors open and close.
Also most are clever enough to ask the driver to drop them off at the right stop.

They count the number of stops from when they get on, I'm guessing?
That was my friends first reason, doesn't hold up though as Albion pointed out. </BLOCKQUOTE>
so whats stopping them asking the driver or the person next to them? i fail to see how this can be "one of the stupidest things ever".
